About Our Garden:

Behind the gym and beside the football field our garden sits, proving that very different things can co-exist beautifully. The fast paced movement of kids, sports practices and community events sits next to the slow, quiet growth of our garden. Our garden provides for us physically and also helps us mark time and seasons as we move through our year. Our hope is that adults and kids alike will learn how to garden and take that knowledge with them. Because of the focus on learning and working together we don’t have plots assigned to individuals for purchase. While an area may have a focus or a group that is working it, our garden is generally used for connection with nature here on campus. We hope to eventually be able to produce enough to have an affordable local produce stand for our neighborhood to help fund the garden.
